Appendectomy, gall stone, groin and ventral hernia, family planning, hysterectomy, ovarian cyst, removing fibroids from uterus, re-canalisation of tubes after tubectomy, hysteroscopy & diagnostic laparoscopy for infertility, splenectomy, colonic and gastric malignancies.
What is the stay for laparoscopy?
The stay for almost all laparoscopy operations ranges from 1 day to 3 day.
What are the chances of wound infection?
Unlike open operation, the chances for wound infection are very minimal.
What is the cost for laparoscopy operation?
Compared to open abdominal operation the cost little higher but if we consider in terms of working days it is cost effective.
When the patient can go to the routine work?
Almost all the patient can be ambulated from the same day & can go to routine work from 3 to 4 days daily onwards.
